Fabric Spreading & CNC Cutting Technology

How JUBMW spreading and cutting machines are built — and why it matters for your cutting room.

JUBMW has built garment automation in Weifang, China since 2012 — 2,000+ garment-factory customers served, the large majority in China, with JUBMW machines now running in six export markets including Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Egypt and Albania.

Servo platform

Both the X6 spreader and the XC60 cutter are built on a Housine servo platform. A standard machine carries Housine servo motors; per customer request we also supply a Fuji + Housine + DongWei combination.

  • X6 spreader: four Housine (欧信) servo motors. Max roll diameter 500 mm, max roll weight 150 kg, spreading speed up to 100 m/min.
  • XC60 cutter: XYZU four-axis servo control — X: 2×750 W, Y: 600 W, Z: 100 W (knife-disc rotation), U: 1.2 kW (blade drive); a 30 kW motor powers the vacuum hold-down system.

Computerized contour cutting

The XC60 is a computerized contour cutting machine, not a straight-knife plotter. CAD nesting is imported to the cutter PC; XYZU servo axes move the head to cut any shape, and the vacuum system clamps the lay before a one-pass cut. It is not limited by layer count — any lay is cut as long as the clamped height is ≤ 11 cm. Three bed heights are available: 7 cm / 9 cm / 11 cm.

Spread accuracy

The X6 lays fabric edge-to-edge and face-to-face with consistent tension, removing the manual variance that causes skewed markers and fabric waste. Combined with the XC60’s ±0.1 mm cutting accuracy, a JUBMW spread-and-cut line keeps the whole cutting room within tight tolerance.

Frequently asked

Is the XC60 a straight-knife cutter?

No. It is a computerized contour cutting machine controlled by XYZU servo axes — it cuts any CAD shape, not just straight lines.

How many layers can the XC60 cut?

It is not limited by layer count. Any lay is cut as long as the vacuum-clamped height is ≤ 11 cm (7 / 9 / 11 cm beds available).

What servo brand do you use?

A standard machine uses Housine servo motors; we also supply a Fuji + Housine + DongWei combination per customer request.

From CAD file to cut piece: the workflow

Your marker is nested in CAD and exported to the cutter PC. The X6 lays the fabric; the XC60 vacuum-clamps the lay (up to 11 cm), then the XYZU servo axes move the head to cut every shape in one pass. Unload, and the next lay is already spreading — the line never stalls between bundles.

Why servo, not a cheaper drive

Repeatability is the whole point. Housine servo axes hold position batch after batch; a cheaper open-loop drive drifts as it heats. For cutting rooms that run two shifts, that drift is scrap — and scrap is what a contour cutter is meant to remove.

Keeping it running

Serviceable parts are named and stocked: the vacuum motor, blades and servo drives are field-replaceable. We ship a spare-parts kit with each order and train your staff to swap the common items, so a worn blade never becomes a multi-day stoppage.
