Why Vietnam garment factories are automating laying-up and cutting
Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing garment manufacturing bases in Asia, with hundreds of factories supplying global apparel brands. As order volumes rise and skilled labor gets harder to keep, manual fabric laying and manual cutting become the bottleneck: slow, uneven layers, fabric waste, and inconsistent quality. Automatic spreading and CNC cutting let one operator supervise several tables and hold tight tolerances batch after batch — the difference between a competitive and a marginal factory floor.
X6 automatic fabric spreading machine for Vietnam
The X6 automatic fabric spreading machine lays woven and knit fabrics in even, tension-free layers by computer-controlled servo drive. Key specs for production floors: max roll diameter 500 mm, max roll weight 150 kg, laying speed up to 100 m/min, driven by four Housine servo motors. It replaces manual laying that is slow and easy to misalign on long rolls, and one worker can supervise several spreading tables at once.
XC60 CNC contour cutting machine for Vietnam
The XC60 CNC cutting machine is a computerized contour cutter — it follows CAD nesting and cuts curved and complex shapes, not just straight strokes like a vibration knife. A standard machine carries Housine servo motors; per customer request we also supply a Fuji + Housine + DongWei combination. It is built for garment, denim and home-textile workloads where edge accuracy drives downstream sewing speed.
Spread and cut in one line
The X6 and XC60 run as one automated line: the spreader feeds layered fabric to the cutter, which cuts by computer control in a single pass. Standard line is 1 spreader + 1 cutter; it scales to 1-to-2, 1-to-3 or 1-to-4 (several spreaders sharing one cutter) for larger plants. See the in-line spreading & cutting line configuration on the Products page.
Why JUBMW for Vietnam buyers
- Since 2012 — 2,000+ garment-factory customers served, the large majority in China, with JUBMW machines now running in six export markets including Vietnam
- English & Chinese support, with installation, remote or on-site training and spare-part supply
- Mature servo platforms — stable on the floor, low maintenance, easy to service
- Proven in real garment factories — see our customer cases
Choosing the right configuration
Small and mid-size workshops usually start with one X6 spreader plus one XC60 cutter. High-volume plants add spreaders (1-to-2 / 1-to-3 / 1-to-4) so the cutter is never waiting for material. Tell us your fabric types, daily output and lay height, and we size the line to your floor.
FAQ
Do you ship to Vietnam?
Yes. Vietnam is one of our six core export markets. We handle export packing, shipping documents and arrive-and-install support.
Can the X6 handle knit fabric?
Yes. The servo drive controls tension so knit and elastic fabrics lay without stretching or curling.
What training is included?
Factory commissioning plus remote or on-site training for your operators and maintenance staff, with spare parts available afterward.
How do I choose spreader + cutter count?
Send us your fabric types, daily output and lay height. We size from 1+1 up to 1-to-4 so the cutter is never starved of material.
Do you cut denim and thick layers?
Yes. The XC60 contour cutter handles denim and home-textile workloads; the X6 lays thick, accurate stacks for them.
Vietnam garment floor: where manual laying and cutting stop scaling
Vietnam’s garment sector has grown fast on FDI and brand sourcing, but many plants still run manual laying and straight-knife cutting. As order books fill and skilled cutters get harder to keep, that manual step becomes the bottleneck: slow plies, uneven edges, fabric waste, and rework that only shows up at the sewing machine. Plants supplying global brands also face tighter consistency audits — one miscut batch can stall a whole line.
What a Vietnam JUBMW line typically replaces
A standard 1+1 line — one X6 spreader plus one XC60 cutter — lets one operator supervise spreading while the cutter runs nested patterns continuously. In a mid-size woven or knit plant this commonly replaces four to six manual cutters and removes the lay-up waiting time between bundles. Larger plants scale to 1-to-2, 1-to-3 or 1-to-4 (several spreaders feeding one cutter) so the cutter is never starved of material.
Local support in Vietnam
JUBMW keeps a local point of contact for Vietnam installations and after-sales, so commissioning and spare-part response are handled close to the floor rather than only from the factory in China. Combined with English and Chinese support, that shortens the gap between a problem on the line and a fix — the part that matters most once the machine is in daily use.
Typical Vietnam configuration
X6 spreader (max roll 500 mm / 150 kg, up to 100 m/min) + XC60 contour cutter (clamped lay up to 11 cm) + installation, training and spare-part kit. Tell us your fabric mix and daily output and we size 1+1 up to 1-to-4.
